Walking with Fred

Today we walked three miles more or less. It was not easy. Fred is very attractive and just about everyone moving either toward or away from us wants to stop and chat with him. Some even hope to get the chance to touch him. Passers by look at me carefully, judging whether or not I approve of or accept their advances. I am not all that jealous, so I can share. I do get annoyed when Fred insists on looking back over his shoulder even several minutes after an encounter or when he seems to be picking up his pace having spotted his next admirer. Today, however, Fred crossed the line when he accepted a biscuit from another dog walker!
